What a spectacular October wedding this couple had, held in the grounds of the amazing and historic Burghley House. Despite a bit of rain (traditionally good luck on a wedding day!) Caroline and Crispin's day was filled
We were lucky enough that the sun did make an appearance later on in the day, which was perfect for a sunset shoot on the grounds that held their reception.
The invitations for this wedding were beautiful. Having a bespoke design that's unique to your wedding day, also makes for a lovely keepsake.
The Bride prep shots are always full of laughs. Theres nothing better than getting ready with your girls, before the best day of your life.
Despite the drizzle, Caroline and her family posed underneath this perfect shelter as images outside are always best.
As the car arrives to take the bride to church, there's always time for one last photo at the house, of her in her dress ready to go.
Capturing the Groom prep shots are always fun. I think it is nice for both the Bride and Groom to have shots of the moments before the wedding. As neither of them see each others, it's something to look back on.
It was time for the Groom and his best men to head to the pub, for a quick pint and cheers to the day ahead.
The bride arrives to the church full of joy too be greeted by a few guests holding umbrellas. The rain definitely didn't dampen their spirits.
The newly weds make the most of the beautiful location on the way to the reception.
Guests enjoy a lovely reception in a Marquee which had been decorated with beautiful flowers along with pastel blue colours.
The speeches were very entertaining for everyone, they brought a lot of smiles laughs, particularly with the bride and groom.
After the cake cut and first dance, the guests wasted no time in getting involved on the dance floor and even snap some of their own shots.
The weather brightened up just in time for a sunset shot of the happy couple.
The marquee looked great all lit up as the night drew in, as the guests enjoyed dancing the night away.
